Mantella Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing. Mantella has no accounts, no sign-up, and no servers. Your settings and per-file reading state (page, scroll position, zoom) are stored locally on your Mac, and we never see them.

There is no analytics, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting service, and no third-party tracking of any kind in the app.

Files and folder access

Mantella reads the library folder you choose so it can list and render your PDF files, and it watches that folder for changes to keep your library in sync. Your documents are opened locally for display only — their contents are never uploaded, indexed elsewhere, or sent off your device.

What we share

Because no data ever leaves your device to us, there is nothing for us to share or sell.

Your data, your control

You can change or remove the library folder at any time, or delete the app entirely, which removes its locally stored settings and reading state from your device. Your PDF files themselves are never modified.

Children's privacy

Mantella does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
