Perch Privacy Policy
Perch does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics.
What we collect
Nothing. Perch has no accounts, no sign-up, and no servers. Your shortcut and window-size preferences are stored locally on your Mac using standard macOS UserDefaults, and we never see them.
There is no analytics, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting service, and no third-party tracking of any kind in the app.
Accessibility permission
Perch asks for Accessibility access because it needs it to read and move the position and size of windows belonging to other apps — that's how the focus shortcut works. This permission is used only to arrange windows on your screen and is never used to read window contents or send anything off your device.
What we share
Because no data ever leaves your device to us, there is nothing for us to share or sell.
Your data, your control
You can revoke Accessibility access at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, or remove the app entirely, which removes its local preferences from your device.
Children's privacy
Perch does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
